So glad you’re here!

I’m passionate about sharing my deep love for plants with young minds. I’m thrilled to offer engaging, in-person school and library visits designed to spark curiosity and inspire your students to connect with nature through storytelling!

Be Plantastic!

My book, LEIF’S GIFT, fosters early engagement with nature through plant appreciation and propagation, and explores themes of following one’s passion, problem-solving, sharing, and community.

My presentation, BE PLANTASTIC! includes a lively read-aloud and a hands-on workshop where children discover the amazing world of plants and propagation. Students will learn about essential plant needs, explore different plant parts, and understand why plants are vital for our planet.

  • Read-aloud of Leif’s Gift.
  • Q&A that typically covers the story, plants, and my writing process.
  • Real plants for tactile exploration.
  • A special propagation demonstration.
  • Each child will also take home their very own plant cutting, along with an activity packet and fun giveaways!

If you have any special classroom needs or requirements, I’m happy to accommodate where possible. Please contact me directly for my rates and all other inquiries. I look forward to connecting!
